NOOOOOOOOO!

I'm going to see Stiff Little Fingers tomorrow and decided to dig out my Burgundy/black DM's in case I get elbowed/looked at sideways and have to stick the feet in them. Problem is a puddy tat peed in them and they had to have a bath in the washing machine (the boots, not the cat) and it seems to have stripped the coating off and left them pink. How do I fix them? C'mon, I know there's a few DM wearing readers among ye!

  2. D'man...stiletto heels won't fare well when being chased down the street by an angry gang of skinheads.

  3. Rub a little cat urine on them, they'll be good as new

  10. SLF? They're that band that do cabaret versions of Status Quo songs, aren't they?

Have you tried gloss black Dulux on the boots?

  11. Chazza, they don't make footwear the way they used to...earlier yesterday some cows broke out and I chased them in my flip-flops, then one of them snapped leaving me hobbling back to the house with a very shitty looking foot...LOL

Tony, I looked at the label and realised they aren't DM's at all, but NPS, looked em up, they've doubled in price since I got mine!

  18. Sensible answer.

Apply generous amounts of Kiwi Oxblood shoe polish. Top off with a bit of clear dubbin. All aided by lots of elbow grease.

Add white laces for that authentic bootboy/girl touch.

    Pee on cat for revenge.

  19. Ad, I love your approach to boot cleaning, there's something almost Gordon Ramsey about it, with a splash of genius at the end :-)
